(Portland, OR) -- The historic Portland sign will soon be back at home over Broadway. The newly renovated sign will return to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall over Southwest Broadway on July 31st. A re-lighting ceremony is set for August 16th. The sign's 500-thousand-dollar restoration includes a fresh coat of paint, UV coating, bright neon lettering and a new aluminum shell. The sign has been in place over Portland since 1928.
