(Vancouver, WA) -- A mother and her young son remain hospitalized following an auto-pedestrian car crash in a grocery store parking lot. Police say Melissa McAllister was walking to a Safeway in Vancouver with her two young sons when an employee arriving for work ran them over. McAllister's husband Guy tells KATU-2 the car ran over Melissa's midsection and leg, and their four-year-old son may have suffered brain damage in the crash. Guy says their 21-month-old son only suffered a concussion and was released from the hospital yesterday.
