(Portland, OR)  --  There are several options available today for folks looking to beat the heat.  Main Salem Public Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, while West Salem Library will be open from noon to 6 p.m.  Authorities say most shopping malls will be available as cooling locations as well.  A few places in Multnomah County are opening their doors to the elderly and people with disabilities.  Those locations include Multnomah County Walnut Park Building, Multnomah County East Building and Hollywood Senior Center.
