Umpqua Fires Prompt Evacuations

(Illahe, OR)  --  Wildfires continue to burn more than 14-hundred acres of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest.  Evacuation orders were given last night for some Douglas County residents.  The flames chased people from their homes in the Dry Creek and Illahe areas.  A level two evacuation notice was given for residents on Moore Hill Lane in Idleyd Park, which means they need to be ready to leave at any time.  Umpqua North Complex fires broke out nearly a week ago about 50 miles east of Roseburg and firefighters have yet to get any containment lines set.
