(Birkenfield, OR)  --  A Hood to Coast runner is facing charges after allegedly stealing a truck and running over another runner.  Police arrested 36-year-old Bend resident David Jon Blackmon for the incident early Saturday morning at Hood to Coast exchange point number 24 in Birkenfield.  Police say Blackmon drove the truck into a field where some runners were resting and ran over a woman, dragging her a short distance.  The woman suffered minor injuries.  An investigation into the assault is ongoing.
