(Portland, OR)  --  Two people are facing charges after allegedly running from police while carrying a two-year-old child.  Police detained the two suspects yesterday following a brief pursuit.  Police say the suspects stole two leaf blowers from a Fred Meyer store and then fled from responding officers in their car, with the passenger holding onto the child.  Police say one of the suspects swallowed some narcotics before officers got to him.
