(Portland, OR)  --  Hundreds of people are out of their homes after the Eagle Creek Fire exploded amid high winds last night.  Fire officials issued level-three evacuation notices yesterday to several communities including Warrendale, Dodson, Bridal Veil and East Corbett.  Officials say the fire had grown from 32-hundred acres to 48-hundred acres as of late last night.  Firefighters were working overnight to protect the state's iconic Multnomah Falls from the blaze.  Officials were expecting the flames to reach the falls' ridges by midnight last night.
