Coast Guard Saves Two From Sinking Boat

(Warrenton, OR)  --  The Coast Guard says it rescued two people from a sinking boat at the entrance of the Columbia River.  Authorities say the two men called for help yesterday after their pleasure boat struck an unknown object and started taking on water.  Coast Guard crews tried to tow the boat to shore but were unable to save it as it started sinking.  The two men were dropped off at Hammond Marina with no reported injuries.
