(Portland, OR)  --  Trains are back on track in the Columbia River Gorge.  Union Pacific spokesman Justin Jacobs tells KATU the rails reopened Tuesday morning after the Eagle Creek Fire forced their closure earlier.  Jacobs says the fire did destroy some of the railroad's ties and that the trains are taking it slow for now.
