(Troutdale, OR)  --  Firefighters continue their battle today against the Eagle Creek Wildfire in the Columbia River Gorge.  Authorities say the 34-thousand-acre fire is now seven-percent contained.  Fire officials say crews are currently focusing their efforts on protecting the Interstate 84 corridor from the flames.  Crews are also using helicopter water drops to keep the fire from spreading past Herman Creek into the town of Cascade Locks.
