(Portland, OR)  --  City officials say they plan to convert Duckworth Memorial Dock into a swimming hole.  Officials say they want to turn the dock into a multi-use platform as part of its push to get more people to visit the waterfront.  The dock currently only serves motorized boats.  The dock is currently under grant terms restricting pedestrian use until the year 2021, but officials say they're hoping to reach an early end to that agreement.
