OR Has New Child Welfare Director

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon's Department of Human Services has a new Child Welfare Director.  The agency announced yesterday that Marilyn Jones brings 20 years of experience to the post.  She has most recently worked in Baker City, where she ran child welfare and food stamp programs.  Jones does more than shuffle paper.  She and her husband have reportedly brought eleven foster children into their home.  They adopted two girls who were not able to be reunited with their relatives.
