(Portland, OR)  --  The westbound lanes of Interstate-84 between Troutdale and Hood River are reopened to traffic.  Officials reopened the lanes last night but say the eastbound lanes remain closed in that area.  Officials closed the freeway due to safety concerns caused by the Eagle Creek Fire.  Crews have cleared away at least two-thousand unstable trees along the freeway to prevent them from falling on motorists.
