"Gresham Reads" Gets Books Into Kids' Hands For Free

(Gresham, OR)  --  A new program in Gresham is helping get free reading material into the hands of kids.  The program "Gresham Reads" launched last Thursday.  Under the program, businesses can volunteer to provide space for bookshelves, which the city then fills up with children's books.  Mayor Shane Bemis helped kick off the program's launch last Thursday with a storytime at Sugar Cubed Cakes.
