(Beaverton, OR)  --  Reports indicate that Nike is now a part of the FBI's sports corruption probe.  ESPN cites unnamed sources who say that the firm's Elite Youth Basketball League was served with a subpoena.  The grassroots league is reportedly not named in the indictments, but a former employee who once ran it is a defendant.  Merl Code left Nike to work at Adidas three years ago.  He and Jim Gatto are at the center of the investigation that's poking around at what prosecutors call the "dark underbelly" of big-time college athletics.
