(Beaverton, OR)  --  Drivers caught speeding on red light cameras will soon be issued tickets for the offense.  A new law going into effect today means red light cameras in Portland, Beaverton, Bend and Salem will be able to double as speed cameras.  Beaverton police tell KATU they hope to have the cameras ready to catch speeders sometime next year.  Portland's cameras won't be ready until 2019, but officials say they could start a pilot program as early as next year.
