(Battle Ground, WA)  --  A southern Washington man is behind bars for allegedly stabbing his mother in the hand.  Police arrested 19-year-old Austin Puckett in Battle Ground Wednesday after his mother called 9-1-1.  Police say Puckett was trying to stab his mom in the chest, but she blocked the blade with her hand and was able to stop him.  Puckett is charged with assault.
