Vancouver Police Crack Down On Out-Of-State License Plates

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Police in Vancouver are cracking down on residents with out-of-state license plates.  The Vancouver Police Department has launched a new program they're calling "Live in State, Get Our Plates."  The program is especially aimed at residents who travel the short distance into Oregon to register their car without having to pay sales tax.  City officials say one in ten Vancouver residents have cars that are registered in another state.
