(White City, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of a sky diver who was killed in a parachuting accident in White City.  The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says 74-year-old Jackson Kern of Central Point died Sunday afternoon after a malfunctioning toggle on his parachute prevented him from controlling his descent.  The pilot of the plane that Kern and other skydivers jumped from says the plane was at about 12-thousand feet when they took their dives.
