(Portland, OR)  --  An open casting call for transgender actors is scheduled this weekend in Portland.  The Casting Society of America is holding open calls all over the world on Sunday for actors who are non-binary, genderqueer or gender non-conforming.  The organization says the open call is aimed at increasing representation for transgender actors.  Portland's event will happen at the Cast Iron Studios office on Southeast 3rd Avenue.
