(Corvallis, OR)  --  Police are searching for a suspect accused of trying to steal archery equipment from a Monroe man's cars.  Police say the suspect or suspects tried to steal compound bows and other equipment from a resident's vehicles on Old River Road in the early hours of October 16th.  The resident says one suspect pointed a gun at him when he stepped out to confront the would-be thieves.  Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
