(Oregon City, OR)  --  A California transient is facing life behind bars for murdering a Lake Oswego man with a machete.  A judge sentenced Erik Meiser yesterday to life in prison with the possibility for parole after 25 years.  Meiser was convicted last month of killing 52-year-old Frederick "Fritz" Hayes in 2012.
