Man Arrested For Shooting At MAX Train Stop

(Portland, OR)  --  Police say they've arrested a man accused of shooting at a couple at a MAX train stop in Gresham.  Police arrested Dawud Bryant Friday on charges of attempted murder and second-degree assault for the incident earlier that day at the MAX platform at Northeast 172nd Avenue.  Police say Bryant initiated an argument with the couple there in which he pulled out a gun and opened fire at close range after hitting the man in the head with the firearm.  Police say the bullet narrowly missed the man's head and traveled through his girlfriend's clothing before hitting a brick wall.
