(Portland, OR)  --  One man is dead after the car he was riding in crashed down an embankment and into a tree.  Police say 44-year-old Shad Alexander died following the crash on Southwest Boones Ferry Road near Alfred Street.  Investigators say fog and wet weather conditions likely contributed to the crash.  The driver was not injured.
