(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into the cause of a fire that damaged a trailer in Hillsboro.  Firefighters responded to the single-wide trailer at 633 Southeast Maple Avenue last night.  Fire officials say a smoke alarm alerted the residents to the fire, and they were able to get out safely.  One of the residents suffered minor burns to his hand after he tried to extinguish the flames on his own.
