(Portland, OR)  --  Two brothers are lucky to be alive after their service dog woke one of them up while their home was burning around them.  Firefighters responded to the house at Brookwood and Drake in Hillsboro yesterday morning after someone saw the flames and called 9-1-1.  Fire officials say one of the residents was awakened by his dog and escaped the house through a window.  He was able to alert his sleeping brother from outside the home, and he escaped safely.  Fire officials say the house didn't have any working smoke alarms.
