Portland Considering Lower Speed Limits In Residential Areas

(Portland, OR)  --  The City of Portland is considering whether to lower the speed limit on residential streets.  City Council members will look at a proposal this week lowering the speed limit from 25 miles per hour to 20 miles per hour.  The proposal is part of a campaign called Vision Zero, which aims to eliminate traffic-related deaths in Portland.
