(Portland, OR) -- New details are coming to light regarding a fatal deputy-involved shooting in a field in Sherwood. The Washington County Sheriff's Department says 54-year-old Remi Sabbe was pointing a rifle at officers last Friday when they opened fire and killed him. Officers were responding to reports of a man driving erratically at the time of the shooting. The officers who shot Sabbe have been identified as Deputy Earl Brown and Corporal Cade Edwards.
