(Portland, OR)  --  One person is dead following a two-car crash on Highway 22 near Santiam Pass in the Cascade Mountains.  The crash happened yesterday evening at milepost 76.  The highway was temporarily shut down while crews cleared the collision.  There's no word yet on how the crash happened, but a winter weather advisory was in effect for the area through 6 p.m. last night.
