Award-Winning Author Ursula K. Le Guin Dies In Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Best-selling science-fiction author Ursula K. Le Guin is dead at the age of 88.  Le Guin passed away Monday at her Portland home.  She's best known for her Earthsea series and was a five-time winner of science-fiction's biggest literary prize, the Hugo Award.  Her books took on a wide variety of themes from feminism to class divides and race.
