(Olympia, WA) -- The engineer on the Amtrak train that derailed in Washington last month is revealing what happened on the train. The National Transportation Safety Board reported yesterday the engineer says he lost track of where he was. It says he told it he missed seeing mile-marker and speed-limit signs that would have alerted him that he should begin braking in advance of a curve near Olympia. Three people were killed and dozens were injured in the accident when the train hurtled into the curve at more than twice the speed limit.
