Mental Health Crisis Forces Closure Of I-205

(Portland, OR)  --  One person is recovering after suffering a mental health crisis that forced police to shut down a portion of I-205.  Police responded to the northbound lanes at Glisan Street yesterday morning on reports of someone who appeared ready to jump from the overpass.  The Portland Police Department's Enhanced Crisis Intervention Team helped get the person down to safety.  Police reopened the northbound I-205 just after noon.
