(Portland, OR)  --  A man is hospitalized after becoming trapped inside a trench at a construction site in Ridgefield, Washington.  Clark County firefighters responded to the trench at Kennedy Farms yesterday afternoon.  Authorities say the man was in the trench working on a sewer project when something fell down the hole and struck him in the head, injuring him.  Fire officials say it took nearly an hour to get the man out of the hole.  Firefighters said last night the man was in a lot of pain but conscious.
