(Portland, OR)  --  A Muslim inmate is suing Oregon for not providing him with meals that observe his faith.  A complaint was filed this week in an Oregon federal court by Rashid Kambarov, a legal resident from Turkey who's serving time for rape.  He claims his meals where he's doing time do not follow Islamic dietary law.  He says the state's failure in that area is a violation of the First and 14th Amendments and a law that bars lockups from disrupting inmates' religious practices.
