Oregon Constitution On Display At State Capitol

(Portland, OR)  --  The newly restored Oregon State Constitution is now on display in the state Capitol.  The Secretary of State Archives division put the document on display yesterday in honor of Oregon's 159th anniversary of statehood.  The document is being displayed at the Capitol Galleria in a brand new climate-controlled case.  It's on display through Saturday, when a birthday celebration for the state will be held, with State Archives staff on hand to discuss the document's history and importance.
