(Salem, OR)  --  State Republicans are considering a controversial former lawmaker to replace former Senator Jeff Kruse following his resignation amid allegations of sexual harassment.  "The Oregonian" reports that Douglas County Commissioner Tim Freeman is being vetted for the job.  Freeman has had his share of controversy stemming from a visit to a topless bar six years ago, when he was serving in the Oregon House.
