University Of Oregon Temporarily Bans Student-Teacher Relationships

(Portland, OR)  --  The University of Oregon is temporarily banning student-teacher relationships.  KATU reports the school has approved a six-month policy forbidding unprofessional relationships between students and faculty.  University officials say the policy is aimed at preventing abuse of power and conflicts of interest.  The university says they're encouraging students and staff to come forward with their opinions on the policy during the six-month trial period.
