(Portland, OR)  --  The Tigard Police Department is praising a Good Samaritan who jumped in to help an officer who was struggling with a suspect.  Police say the officer was responding to reports of a man causing concern at the Tigard Public Library when the man started to fight with him.  That's when the citizen reportedly jumped in, helping the officer get control of the suspect and even injuring himself in the process.  The Tigard Police Department released a statement thanking the citizen, saying his action "exuded courage and genuine concern."
