(Portland, OR)  --  One man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a security guard with a knife downtown.  Police arrested 23-year-old Nathan Kappel yesterday afternoon for the incident near Southwest 5th Avenue and West Burnside Street.  Police say witnesses called 9-1-1 after seeing the man brandishing a pocket knife in the area.  No injuries were reported.
