(Portland, OR)  --  Authorities are shutting down a popular Portland park due to concerns over a parking garage beneath it.  Transportation and parks leaders issued a joint statement yesterday saying O'Bryant Square and the garage will be shut down indefinitely.  Engineers reportedly had concerns about the structural integrity of the garage.  The joint statement says public safety will be ensured while long-term options are considered.
