(Bridal Veil, OR)  --  Police are releasing new details in connection with an alleged kidnapping and sexual assault in the Columbia River Gorge.  Police say 61-year-old convicted sex offender Douglas Braaten is being held on four felony charges at the Multnomah County Jail for the incident Tuesday night.  Bail is set at one-million dollars.  Police say Braaten offered his female victim a ride at a 7-Eleven and then drove past her requested stop to take her to Bridal Veil, where he sexually assaulted her.  Police say they used GPS to track the woman's phone after she texted 9-1-1 during the car ride.
