(Portland, OR)  --  Officials are expanding their evacuation orders following a massive fire emitting toxic smoke at a Northeast Portland scrap yard.  Fire officials announced late last night that residents living in the area from Northeast 60th to East 76th and Northeast Columbia and Northeast Alberta should leave the area immediately.  Firefighters worked into the night to extinguish the five-alarm blaze that started yesterday morning at Northwest Metals.  The fire destroyed a duplex and two small homes and killed at least 16 cats.
