(Portland, OR)  --  Google is opening a new data center in The Dalles.  Community leaders joined the company yesterday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Taylor Lake data center.  Google says the ceremony marks the end of the first phase of construction, with the second phase now beginning.  Google says the new facility will create 50 new jobs.
