SCOOR Suspends State Judge Who Wouldn't Marry Same-Sex Couples

(Salem, OR)  --  An Oregon state judge is suspended for three years for "willful misconduct."  The Oregon Supreme Court pulled Judge Vance Day off the bench yesterday.  The high court reportedly found that he acted with prejudice against same-sex couples when he refused to marry them.  The ruling also states that Day instructed his staff to keep his misdeeds from coming to the public's attention.
