Senator Wyden Questions Facebook On Cambridge Analytica

(Portland, OR)  --  Senator Ron Wyden is demanding answers from Facebook about the misappropriation of the private data of tens of millions of Americans.  In a statement Friday, Facebook said it suspended data firm Cambridge Analytica and its parent group after receiving reports it didn't delete information about Facebook users that was shared inappropriately.  Cambridge Analytica was founded by former President Trump adviser Steve Bannon and Republican donor Robert Mercer.  The data was allegedly used to manipulate American voters.  Wyden sent a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg yesterday asking him to explain the extent of the data collection.
