(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into the shooting deaths of three bald eagles in Linn County.  Police found the eagles with apparent gunshot wounds near Tangent last Friday.  Bald eagles are no longer considered endangered, but they're still protected by state and federal law, and it's illegal to kill or harass them.
