(Portland, OR)  --  New details are coming to light regarding a former Portland-area family killed after driving off a cliff in Northern California.  Neighbors of 39-year-olds Jennifer and Sarah Hart tell KATU the family loaded up its SUV and left quickly last Friday after getting a visit from Child Protective Services.  Dana DeKalb tells the station she called CPS after one of the children allegedly knocked on her door asking for food.  DeKalb says the child told her that his parents were withholding food as a form of punishment.  Meanwhile, KATU reports Sarah Hart pleaded guilty to domestic assault in Minnesota after being charged eight years ago for allegedly spanking her six-year-old daughter so hard, it left bruises.
