(Portland, OR) -- Parents of students at a Portland Catholic school are just finding out about sex abuse allegations. Administrators at St. Mary's Academy told parents Wednesday that an English teacher had her license revoked by the state in January. The action followed her resignation last year amid an investigation into alleged sexual abuse of a student nearly ten years ago. The "Portland Tribune" reports that Francesca Cronan allegedly had inappropriate contact with a teenage girl in 2008. Ariana Garay recently came forward with the allegation, which Cronan denies.
