Coachella Getting Sued Over Radius Clause

(Indio, CA)  --  An Oregon music festival is filing a lawsuit against Coachella.  Soul'd Out Productions reportedly filed the lawsuit on Monday.  The organization claims Coachella's radius clause is illegal, according to "Law360."  The clause places a limit on where artists can play before and after an event.  It accuses Coachella of requiring acts to sign the clause, which bars artists from playing within a five-state radius of Indio, California, from December through May.  It apparently tried to book several acts that are scheduled to perform at Coachella, but they declined because of the radius clause.
