State Committee Without Consensus On I-5, I-205 Tolls

(Portland, OR)  --  A state committee is still without a consensus on tolls for Portland's Interstate 5 and Interstate 205.  The 25-member panel met Wednesday for the fourth of six scheduled meetings.  The group was created last year to figure out if and how tolling on the highways should be done in order to reduce congestion.  "OregonLive" reports that five proposals are being kicked around, but no agreement has been reached on what to do.  The committee is expected to make its recommendations to the Oregon Transportation Commission in the summer.
